Now that we are getting settled into November, a new event is going ahead til the end of the month. November has become "Movember".
Movember is an event that was started to raise awareness of men's health issues, in particular prostate cancer and testicular cancer. It now involves more issues concerning men such as mental health.
Men are encouraged to grow a moustache during the month to show support. It is an eye catcher and will stimulate a conversation.
My friend Sam grew a beautiful 'stache but I thought he needed a bit of a trim on his shaggy hair. We went to a hair salon so I could give him a trim. That was NOT on his schedule. All I could do was give his hair a brush.
