My Idea Of How To Spend The Day

 Dear Diary:

It turned hot in my part of the world.  It was welcome after the cool rainy spring but I don't think my body adjusted very well to the quick change.  I didn't feel like doing very much in either of my worlds.  So when faced with that - I didn't do very much!

I'm going to try this again some time.

Happiness Is...

 Dear Diary:

When I saw this sweatshirt, I just had to have it.  Not only because I liked the colour (and I rarely like pink) but for the saying printed on it.  

It got me thinking about what makes me happy.  Here's a few things.

Happiness is...a big plate of spaghetti...a cup of hot chocolate with a marshmallow on a snowy day...doing nothing when I know I should be doing something...and, of course, being with my family.

A Gourmet Lunch For Me

 Dear Diary:

I enjoy my food.  Any kind.  But one of my big indulgences is a good hot dog.

I think I've tried all different kinds but I do have my favs.  I love a steamed wiener with a soggy bun, ketchup, mustard, relish and onions.  That's what you get at a baseball or hockey concession stand.  And then there's the home cooked type - BBQed with sauce, fried onions, bacon.  But the highlight of my tasting delight was when I had a Chicago hot dog.

The wiener must be a boiled all-beef one.  It has to be a steamed bun.On the bun, in order, is placed yellow mustard, sweet green pickle relish, onion, tomato, pickle spear, peppers, and celery salt.  A gastronomic delight!!!
