The rush is over and it's a good time to have relaxing and restful days.  The best time for me is late at night.  I like to sit in front of the fireplace and indulge my sweet tooth.  It's a time I can really enjoy.

Getting The Wrapping Done

 Dear Diary:

I like it when I get to this point of my pre-Christmas Day schedule.  Presents are all ready; wrapping paper is to be unrolled; and bows and ribbons are poised to be put on packages.  Yes, that's on the schedule.  Now it just has to get done!

Thank goodness it goes quickly.  Then it's all under the tree until the 25th.

WOW!!  Time is going fast and right now I feel totally unprepared.  But I always have time for Chloe and I to do our annual ugly Christmas sweater shopping .

This year I think we did well.

Even though we don't shop together, we usually come up with different choices.  It's the start of the season for me, when we get this picture taken.

Starting The Christmas Decorations

 Dear Diary:

In both my worlds, I like to decorate my house early in December.  It puts me in the Christmas spirit and (especially this year) brightens everything up. 

I struggled with the garland around my fireplace.  Getting it to hang just right always is an effort.

Got that done!  Now on to the next!
